Behold! A Publicist Fights Back

When you finally bite the bullet and hire a publicist for those oft mind-blowing retainers of $10K a month, you expect certain conveniences–namely, availability. One identity-protected PR maven has decided to buck the Blackberry trend and go rogue. Behold the auto-response The Daily received:

I am beginning a new email policy. In an effort to increase productivity and efficiency I will only be checking/responding to email at 11a and 4p on weekdays. If you need an immediate time-sensitive response… please don’t hesitate to call me on my mobile phone [REDACTED]. Phones are more fun anyways. Hopefully this new approach to email management will result in shorter lead times with more focused & creative work on my part. Cheers & here’s to life outside of my inbox!”
