Kelly Gives ‘Em Hell!

Chic Report must confess that last night (which was blessedly event-free) led us to finally tune in to The Real Housewives of New York–and it did not even remotely disappoint. Longtime fash fixture Kelly Bensimon’s heavenly-to-watch takedown of Bethenny Frankel was one of the most riveting television moments in months. We’ve been rewatching the Monkey Bar scene, in which Bensimon informs Frankel that “we’re not the same–this is you (pointing straight ahead) and this is me (elevating her arm, indicating some sort of disparity) and we can’t talk.” Aside from that little slice of paradise–the cameos, the cameos! There was Jill Stuart, and Alison Brod at the Jill Stuart show…not to mention the Malo and Badgley Mischka runway spectacles.  The fashion highlight? Jill Zarin’s lunchy gushfest with Zang Toi (we realize–we miss this guy! Zang, call us). The entire experience recalled Zoolander, and we’re dying for more. Can we please, please TiVo?
