Madonna’s Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2009-2010 ad campaign images have finally been officially released.
We’ve been going out of our minds waiting to get our hands on them.
Creative director Marc Jacobs once again chose Madonna as the face of the french label — the Material Girl showed off her flexibility in LV’s spring/summer campaign, which had a hard, sexually-charged vibe.
This time around, though, the series of images, has a lush, even romantic feel.
Jacobs went with an old Hollywood direction for the campaign, with a Man Ray influence.
MJ and Madonna reunited with photographer Steven Meisel, who shot the previous campaign (and the provocative Calvin Klein billboard).
“After the fun we had with the spring/summer campaign, and the amazing reaction to it, all of us - Madonna, Steven and myself - were eager to get back together for fall/winter,” Jacobs explains.
The campaign breaks in August.

Marc Jacobs sought a softer, more intimate quality than last season’s campaign.

Photographer Steven Meisel used a technique called “solarization,” favored by the legendary Man Ray, to achieve a techno-rainbow exposure.

Marc Jacobs says there is a unity to the campaigns “it feels like we have completed both parts of the story.” (Referring to Madonna’s last turn as the face of Louis Vuitton.)

The lush, colorful clothing was inspired by Tamara de Lempicka artwork.

Calling Justin Timberlake a multitasker is a huge understatement! He's an actor, recording artist, restaurateur, Tequila connoisseur and is making huge strides in his fashion designer aspirations, too.
JT presented his men’s and women’s ready-to-wear fall/winter collections yesterday in London, and man did he deliver.
What originally launched as a casual streetwear line has continued to morph into a sexy, biker-badass collection, incorporating leather, plaid, feathers and just the right amount of sequin — layered over skintight, dark-washed denim.

Some flawlessly toned Manhattanites have been attending the ballet-inspired classes at Physique 57 religiously for the past three years. Not so here at Chic Report– we only recently discovered this uber-grueling (yet seriously rewarding) workout routine, and we yearn for the day when the new DVD is unleashed so we can sweat freely and peacefully à la maison. Anyway, good news to all you Hampton types: Physique is once again offering classes at its outpost in Bridgehampton–four or five a day, in fact. What better way to repent from nights of excess at Surf Lodge? THE DETAILS: Physique 57 Bridgehampton, 264 Butter Lane Barn, (631) 537-5722

Marion Cotillard - Captivating with carefree curls, or sexier with sleek and straight hair? Photos: Kevin Winter, Getty Images | Jon Furniss, WireImage
Marion Cotillard became famous for her chameleon-like turn as Edith Piaf in “La Vie en Rose,” but the actress makes a hobby out of transforming her own image off-camera, too. Especially with her various hairstyles.
Most often seen wearing her hair in beautiful, ribbon-like curls, Cotillard stepped out at the London premiere for “Public Enemies” last night (June 29) with poker-straight hair, the top half styled into a formidable pompadour. (There was a slight mullet thing going on as well — a hair stunt only a Dior muse/Oscar-winning actress could pull off.)
Cotillard’s so gorgeous, she could make a buzz cut look chic, but there is something about her curly hair that just makes her seem that much more glamorous and mysterious (to me, anyway).
